Following the success of the phone photography webinar (now available to watch on the HMAA website at https://hmaaustralia.com.au/video/), Deryn Thorpe and John Colwill with instructor Des Lewis, have created a follow up event. They will demonstrate how to make a video using a smart phone.
The event, in two parts, will be face-to-face for those in Perth but can be joined online by HMAA members across Australia. Part 1 will cover using video on the phone, preparation, adding visual interest as well as how to edit, import clips, adjust imagery and add audio.
The first workshop will run for two hours. The first hour will be recorded as a webinar (by John Colwill) and open to all HMAA members. In the second hour those in Perth will enjoy coffee together and practice under the supervision of Des Lewis.
The second workshop will build on skills learned in Part 1.
Part 1 will be held on October 9 at 5pm (ESDT), 4pm (EST), 4.30pm (CT) and 2pm in WA. The webinar will run for an hour but the event will last for two hours for those in Perth.
The event is free to HMAA members (note commercial fees for each seminar would be $200 so this is a huge member benefit). Please contact Deryn Thorpe (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the webinar link or to RSVP for the face-to-face event, which will be held at Deryn’s home at 13 First Avenue, Mt Lawley, WA. Course notes will be provided.
Part 2 of the seminar/webinar will be held on October 23 at 5pm (ESDT), 4pm (EST), 4.30pm (CT) and 2pm in WA (venue to be confirmed). Please contact Deryn Thorpe (email@example.com) for the second webinar link or to RSVP closer to the event.
