National Water Week
(October 18-24)
With a theme of Caring for Water and Country, National Water Week 2021 runs from October 18-24. It is organised by the Australian Water Association. The #NWW2021 theme celebrates the vital and cultural role that water plays in our lives. Recognising the importance our waterways play in our lives, Caring for Water and Country aims to deepen our understanding of Australian First Nations people’s knowledge of protecting and sustaining our water and lands for over 65,000 years.
Many companies are jumping on board. In a recent media release from Nylex they state that on average, around 40 per cent of household water is used outdoors, so it is important to reuse and recycle this commodity as much as possible. This year, Nylex is proud to support National Water Week as a major partner.
