Request for Proposal: Vegetable industry communications program

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Vegetable industry communications program (VG22000).

This investment will be responsible for effectively communicating the findings of levy-funded R&D and other relevant industry news, issues and data to vegetable growers and other industry stakeholders. The ultimate objective is to increase knowledge and awareness of levy-funded R&D investments and outcomes, and to inspire engagement with and uptake of new information and technologies.

The objectives of the services being sought are to:

  • Increase industry understanding and support for the adoption of best practice and emerging production and supply chain information in relation to vegetable industry R&D project outcomes and outputs.
  • Provide information transfer to the vegetable industry value chain through targeted communication channels on research findings, best practice, emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Create a better-informed vegetable industry to ensure growers have access to all relevant information that will assist them to be profitable and sustainable now and into the future.
  • Promote understanding of the role of Hort Innovation and engagement with the national R&D programs to all vegetable levy payers.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
