The Noosa Botanic Gardens Plant Fair is held each year on Father’s Day – this year, Sunday 3rd September. HMAQ member and Chair of the Friends of Noosa Botanic Gardens, Paul Plant, said this free event attracted well over 2500 people from the various areas of South East Queensland. Supported by Noosa Council, the Plant Fair is a major tourist event for the region as it brings families to the Botanic Gardens which are located on the banks of picturesque Lake Macdonald. The Friends sell plants to raise funds to invest back into the gardens. There are also other specialist plant sellers and guest speakers.
