New South Wales members had a lovely get-together in a spacious private room at the Union Hotel in North Sydney, reports Helen Young.
With a balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather, 20 HMA NSW members came together to celebrate the festive season. The party kicked off with nibbles and a drink shouted by HMA NSW, allowing plenty of time for everyone to chat. This was followed by a very good two-course lunch and finished with Christmas carols led by George Hoad and Bernard Chapman. We are so lucky to have two such glorious singers in our group.
It was great to see a few partners sharing the occasion too. Judy Horton brought along a much-admired fuchsia in a ceramic pot, donated by Green Gallery, as a door prize. It was won by George Hoad and was a nice reward for him having travelled south from Taree for the lunch. Thanks also to Lyn Morehen, who came up from the Southern Highlands for the event.
