New book – Working With Weeds, A Practical Guide to Understanding, Managing and Using Weeds

In this new book from Kate Wall, we are invited to look at weeds differently. The premise of the book is that weeds are in our garden for a reason. Understanding why they are there is key to knowing what we need to do differently to create a garden without the need for weeding. This could be knowing more about what is missing in our soil, or even changing our watering habits.
The book guides the gardener through different types of weeds and what we can learn from them. It also covers various methods of organic weed eradication and when each method is best applied.
This book is about much more than just gardening without weeds. It looks into the role of weeds in improving soil, providing habitat, weed folklore and of course edible and medicinal weeds.
