With just days left before this year’s Laurels closes to entries, previous HMAA President, Angus Stewart, who is now based in Tasmania, speaks about winning a Laurel.
“The opportunity to share your work with one’s peers is something to be savoured. The Laurels provide the opportunity for us all to come together and celebrate the work of our whole association, not just the winners.
“The Laurels also offer us the opportunity to network and educate each other on our various specialist areas, as well as to mentor younger members in the rapidly evolving media world. The younger members in turn can also share their skills especially in the brave new world of AI and digital media.
“Entering your work in the Laurels is a great way to keep this important HMAA institution healthy.
