This spring, the historic and beautiful Bolobek at Macedon will once again host the Mount Macedon Horticultural Society’s Garden Lovers Fair being held on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October 2018.
There’s something for everyone at the Fair, with stall holders including local and interstate specialist plant growers, ornamental vegetable seed specialists, garden sculptures and garden accessories, as well as artisan tool makers and booksellers.
Visitors will be able to learn “tricks of the trade” and enjoy Q&A sessions an impressive lineup of gardening personalities, including Stephen Ryan of Dicksonia Rare Plants, author of eight gardening books Penny Woodward and succulents enthusiast, Attila Kapitany.
Food, wine and refreshments will all be available.
A visit to the fair is an opportunity to see the spectacular Mt Macedon Ranges, have a relaxing weekend away or a special day out. Just one hour from Melbourne, Macedon is considered to be the “green heart” of the ranges.
