Originally started in 2012 in the nearby city of Ipswich, the event will now be moving to Brisbane’s iconic Doomben Racecourse on 16 – 17 March 2018. Too big for Ipswich, the event organisers Paul Plant (HMAQ member) and Ruth O’Dowd have taken two years to select the new Brisbane site. With a strong commitment to family fun and education, BGPE will feature a range of local and interstate speakers, and support its tag of “…a subtropical plant collector’s paradise”.
