The Thursday evening prior to the start of the annual Queensland Garden Expo at Nambour provides an opportunity for Media Association members and friends to catch up at the Mosaic Restaurant within the local RSL.
It is always a relaxed, fun night, with good food and plenty of laughter. A few locals were wide-eyed at the site of so many Gardening Australia presenters and local horticultural personalities in the one place!
George Hoad and Annette Irish were commended on their work in creating the new HMAA plant clinic banner that will tour the country and be available for major shows and events.
Annette Irish shared her memories of the late Robert Percy and his contribution to horticultural production and the support of young horticulturists.
