HMAA members in Adelaide for the 2026 Laurels were treated to a tour of St Ann’s garden. Thank you to Virginia Sheridan for these photos. The garden is regularly open as part of Open Gardens SA.
In the early days of settlement in SA wealthy colonists built summer homes in the Adelaide Hills, particularly around Stirling where it is several degrees cooler than the city. The area is beautiful, lots of stately old homes, masses of trees and very lush and green so it is still a great drawcard for visitors.
