AILDM Announces Rebrand
-New brand strengthens position as Australia’s peak national body for landscape designers-
SYDNEY (15 July 2022) – The Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM), the peak national organisation representing landscape designers, announced today that it has completed a major rebranding. The landscape design industry’s continual evolution and the organisation’s commitment to member growth and support were the key drivers for this initiative.
The organisation was founded in 1993 with the aim of connecting members in a network with other designers passionate about both their profession and the environment. Since its inception, membership has grown exponentially with its mission now expanded to include government advocacy and strengthening collaborative partnerships within the training, development & construction sectors.
AILDM will change its name to The Landscape Design Institute, releasing a new logo and website that reveals its fresh branding to clearly reflect who it represents. Redefining the membership structure to better align with members professional qualifications and capabilities fuelled the changes.
“We’re delighted to announce that our organisation will now be known as The Landscape Design Institute” said Paul Stein, President of The Landscape Design Institute. “Refocussing our identity together with the realigned membership structure and branding refresh helps to further establish our position as a leading national design association that supports and represents our members needs and allows us to foster a new level of influence in the market”.
