Trevor Nottle to take part in international webinar

SA HMAA President, Trevor Nottle, has been invited to take part in an international lecture event, which will be available via Zoom. The lecture series is hosted by UK group Bromley House as part of its Garden Literature Talk Series for 2023. Trevor’s talk will be on Saturday, April 15 at 10.30am (GMT), which is April 14, 9.30pm (EST). Tickets cost €6 and can be booked online (details below). His topic is ‘A brief history of Australian gardening’.

Other talks in the series are ‘Old roses and their modern equivalents, the English Roses’ with Michael Marriott (April 5) and ‘English Garden Eccentrics’ with Todd Longstaffe-Gowan (April 19) – both authors of new books on their topics. Also coming up is ‘Miss Willmott’s ghosts’ with Sandra Lawrence (another new book). For those in the UK, events are held at Bromley House Library.
