The Committee for Sydney has revealed plans for a new public forecourt at the State Library of New South Wales.
The proposal includes adding public art and native plants around a new grassed plaza for library events and community activities, and realigning Sir John Young Crescent and Hospital Road to improve safety for pedestrians and drivers and to provide better links to the Botanic Gardens of Sydney and The Domain.
The plan is part of a wider redevelopment of the Macquarie Street East Precinct. Find out more and have your say here.
