New research to support potato mop top virus

Last week the Tasmanian Government announced $200,000 to fast-track important research to help potato growers manage the risk of potato mop top virus.

Led by TIA Professor Calum Wilson, a plant pathology expert with extensive potato virus research experience, the project will deliver practical solutions for industry. One of the main outcomes will be a reliable and affordable soil test to detect the virus before planting.
