NEW Diggers Book ‘We speak for the trees’ – VIRTUAL LAUNCH

‘We Speak for the Trees’ by Clive Blazey AM

“By planting trees, we can all play our part to accelerate the drawdown of carbon. Now, more than ever, we must all speak up for the trees.” Clive Blazey AM

Tim Samson, CEO of The Diggers Club and The Diggers Foundation invites you to join us for a virtual book launch with Clive Blazey AM Friday, 5th November 2021, 11am – 12pm.

Clive Blazey’s eighth book is a gardener’s guide to achievable solutions for this global climate change crisis. Planting trees and gardening sustainably are some of the simplest solutions for carbon drawdown. Containing detailed information on almost 100 ornamental, fruit and nut trees selected for climate suitability, shade, habitat protection and bushfire prevention. Each tree listed is growing in one of The Diggers Foundation gardens, where we have gained valuable first-hand knowledge by planting, trialling and careful study over more than 40 years. Information gathered over this journey has enabled us to compile a list of the best trees for Australian gardeners.

If we can protect our existing forests and oceans from exploitation and destruction, their recovery will give us enough time to switch to renewable energy.

Visit our website www.diggers.com.au/we-speak-for-the-trees for further information and a teaser or simply register for a free ticket at https://www.trybooking.com/BVDYY. Upon purchase of a ticket, you will be issued Zoom dial in details.

We look forward to seeing you because “UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better… It’s not” – The Lorax by Dr Seuss
