Congress Overview - 78th AIPH Annual Congress - Bari, Italy

Have a look at the latest newsletter from AIPH (International Association of Horticultural Producers) for a range of upcoming events and activities including greener cities and expos as well as access to FloraCulture International. The latest issue explores one of horticulture’s most important challenges: the future of growing media. AIPH is responsible for approving the world’s most exceptional horticultural expos creating long lasting green legacies in cities across the globe.

Green cities

AIPH’s Expo and Green City work is helping to show how International Horticultural Expos can support greener cities, public engagement and long-term urban legacy.

Recent activity included AIPH’s contribution to the Japan Landscape Architects Union dialogue on GREEN×EXPO 2027 and Yokohama’s Green City future, in which discussions explored how the Expo can connect with wider public space, green infrastructure, and long-term city transformation.

AIPH will continue this conversation at InnoCity, taking place from 14–15 October 2026 at Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles, where its Expo and Green City expertise will contribute to wider discussions on urban greening, sustainable cities and the role of plants in future urban development.
