Joanna Cave will step down as CEO of Greenlife Industry Australia early in the new year.
Over the past four years, Jo has transformed GIA’s financial, operational and reputational performance, uniting stakeholders, rebuilding relationships with industry and government and re-establishing GIA’s credentials and capability. Jo’s courageous leadership was pivotal in securing a historic agreement with Bunnings that creates more commercial certainty for growers. Jo will be leaving GIA as a respected voice for Australia’s greenlife industry, with a bright and viable future.
Jo will be travelling between Australia and the UK for family reasons and spending some time recharging before she takes on her next challenge. Meanwhile, she will continue supporting GIA through the transition period. Recruitment for the new CEO will begin shortly to ensure a smooth handover.
