HMAA Laurels 2026 – meet our sponsors

Thank you to all our sponsors who have made our biennial awards and dinner possible. This week we highlight two important sponsors, who support nurseries, growers and gardeners in South Australia: The Nursery & Garden Industry South Australia and the Jeffries Group.

The Nursery & Garden Industry SA is the sponsor of the Published Article Laurel.

Nursery & Garden Industry South Australia (NGISA) was formed in 1908 as the South Australian Association of Nurserymen and Seedsmen. The association has grown steadily since that time and now has more than 110 members including retail nurseries and garden centres, production nurseries and allied traders – suppliers of a variety of garden care and decor products.

NGISA is delighted to support the HMAA Laurels as they return to Adelaide, where the awards first began. NGISA has long valued the important role horticultural media plays in connecting people with plants, gardens and trusted industry knowledge. As the peak body for South Australia’s amenity horticulture industry, representing production nurseries, retail garden centres and allied trade businesses, NGISA is proud to recognise the communicators who help inspire gardeners, celebrate horticultural excellence and promote the value of Greenlife.

The Jeffries Group is sponsoring the HMAA Digital Technology & Innovation Laurel.

Jeffries Group is a multi-generational family business transforming recyclable organic resources into premium compost, soil, mulch and fertiliser products. Operating from our world-class environmental recycling facility at Buckland Park, we proudly support farmers, viticulturists, landscapers and home gardeners while helping secure healthy soils for future generations.

The Jeffries Group employs more than 70 people and recycles over 150,000 tonnes of organics each year, supplying quality compost, soil and mulch to landscape yards, vineyards and vegetable growers across South Australia. The garden beds at Carrick Hill are mulched with Jeffries ReCover mulch.

Jeffries composts, soils and mulches are of the highest quality on the market. We take pride in our certification.
