The HMAA held its AGM for 2024 online on November 19 with 18 members in attendance.
President Judy Horton OAM, from New South Wales, was re-elected. All other committee members also stood for another year and were elected unopposed.
The 2024-2025 Committee is comprised of:
- David Furness (Queensland),
- George Hoad AM (New South Wales and Secretary),
- Dianne Hall (South Australia),
- Annette Irish (Queensland and Treasurer),
- Jennifer Stackhouse (Tasmania and Vice-President), and
- Chloe Thomson (Victoria).
President Judy Horton noted the passing of the following HMAA members and horticultural colleagues since the last AGM:
- Kelvin Trimper,
- Ian Hardy,
- Robert Percy,
- Jeanne Villani,
- Elwyn Swane,
- Tim Yates,
- Gary Heyne,
- Walter Duncan, and
- Russell Costin.
