Have you entered the Laurels?

There’s just two and a half weeks to go! Entries close on Monday, June 15, 2026.

As well as entering your own work (see our website for this year’s categories), you can also nominate an HMAA member for a special award – The Anita Boucher Award or the Gold Laurel. We hear from Kate Wall in Queensland, who won the HMAA Anita Boucher Award for Outstanding Achievement in Horticulture in 2022, about what winning that award meant to her.

“Winning the Anita Boucher Laurel was a very proud moment for me. The Laurels represents peer recognition. It is one thing to have dedicated followers and good clientele, but to be recognised and awarded by peers and people who I look up to professionally is priceless. It helped me to realise that my work is of value, even beyond my own bubble and helped me to see how far I have come and what I have achieved by doing what I love. I encourage everyone to enter the Laurels!”
