The festive season certainly kicked off early for members of HMA South Australia as Dianne Hall reports.
After months of uncertainty due to COVID-19, the group enjoyed a delicious dinner under a spectacular fairy-light lit ceiling in the Brunnings’ showroom at Dudley Park in Adelaide. Guests were welcomed by an enormous Father Christmas and the mood was truly festive as members mixed and mingled spreading good cheer and positive slants on the year that was. All were impressed by the guided tour conducted by David Kirk from Brunnings who proudly showed off the enormity, height and surrounds of the state-of-the-art warehouse and showroom.
As Tony Arioli, Director of Research and Development for Seasol, who was the scheduled presenter was unable to attend, Megan Elliott stepped up to the plate. Ably assisted by Carrie Prettejohn, the pair delivered a wonderful Zoom presentation. It was a case of ‘We won’t forget the Seasol!’.
Chair of HMASA, Trevor Nottle, wished all a very Merry Christmas on behalf of the HMASA Executive. After the formal part of the evening guests enjoyed socialising and catching up after what could be described as a challenging year for all.
HMASA wishes all HMAA members right around Australia the very best for the festive season as we look forward to an exciting 2023.
