HMAA Plant Clinic at the Queensland Garden Show –
Volunteer Invitation 10–12 July 2026
Join us at Australia’s premier horticultural event and be part of something truly rewarding.
Volunteering at the HMAA Plant Clinic is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow members, share your knowledge with the gardening public, and strengthen the sense of community within our profession. It’s a supportive, social, and energising environment where you can put your horticultural expertise to the test, learn from each other, and enjoy the satisfaction of helping people solve real plant problems.
Many of our volunteers say it’s one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences of the year — a chance to build friendships, grow professional networks, and proudly represent our industry.
We warmly invite HMA Australia members to get involved, contribute their skills, support one another, and enjoy the buzz of the Queensland Garden Show together.
What’s New for 2026
HMAA Pre-Loved Book Stall
We’re excited to introduce a new initiative for 2026 — the HMAA Pre-Loved Book Stall.
This is a wonderful way to give your surplus horticultural books a second life while supporting HMAA. It’s also a great opportunity for members and visitors to pick up quality pre-loved resources at bargain prices. Whether you’re donating, selling, browsing, or buying, this new addition promises to be a fun and engaging part of the Plant Clinic space.
Think of it as recycling knowledge — sharing valuable resources within our community while helping raise funds for HMAA.
