WildFlowers Australia
WildFlowers Australia is hosting this important event this August. Held only every 3 years, the 2026 conference will take place on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast.
The 11th conference will bring together growers and other industry members from around Australia and overseas. There has been a resurgence in the industry in recent years with many more people establishing flower farms to grow Australian native and botanically related species for the cut flower market in regional areas to diversify their farming activities. New industry members will especially benefit from this conference!
The speaker program includes leading growers, researchers and industry experts from Australia and around the world. From practical production insights to the latest research, plant breeding and emerging business models, their presentations will share valuable knowledge that can be applied directly on farm or in various flower businesses. The sessions will provide fresh ideas, practical solutions and opportunities to learn from some of the most respected voices in the industry.
Day 1. Friday 14 August – Industry conference and trade expo, industry dinner featuring guest speaker – Craig Musson, founder of Wafex and one of the most influential figures in the Australian cut-flower industry.
Day 2. Saturday 15 August – Farm tour visiting several local farms.
