Hope you’re having a lovely morning. I wanted to share that I am a finalist in the MIFGS Border Gardens competition this year and will be creating a show garden inspired by my book, Your Asian Veggie Patch.
I’d love to have this news included in the HMAA Friday newsletter, and would be so grateful of any support and media coverage of my show garden. I’m keen to get the word out there about the incredible diversity of Asian food plants we can grow here in Australia, and let people know about my book. I’m happy to assist in answering any questions or do any media interviews.
Here’s a summary of my garden design:
A celebration of the joys of cultural gardening, and a nod to the incredible diversity of plants native to Asia that can be grown here in Australia. The planting design aims to inspire gardeners to connect with their own cultural heritage through gardening.
Key design themes: small space big productivity, multi-layered food forest, strategic plant selection, a kaleidoscopic rainbow of colour, succession planting.
