Tripadvisor has named two of Australia’s botanic gardens in its top 10 attractions in Australia as part of its Travellers Choice’ Awards. Tripadvisor has named Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth, Western Australia as its number two attraction while Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is the fourth top attraction. The Awards are based on the number of positive reviews by travellers to each attraction. Kings Park was named as number one attraction in 2024 but been pipped this year by Hobart Penitentiary in Tasmania.
The top ten attractions named by Tripadvisor this year were:

The Award for Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria encompasses both Melbourne and
Cranbourne Gardens. Both locations attract interstate and overseas visitors, with over 1.7 million people visiting both Gardens combined over the past year.
