A fun experience to help the environment! – This works really well, we did a test for an hour in the afternoon (less active because it was cooler) and caught hundreds of toadpoles! Each catch drastically reduces cane toad tadpole numbers and in turn reduces them growing to adults and breeding further. Would be great if these were popular at schools so kids could get excited about reducing toad numbers too!
Please remember to humanely kill any toads and toadpoles caught, it’s not their fault they’re a pest and they shouldn’t suffer.
