The annual HMAA dinner to celebrate the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and present awards was an evening of fun, good food and great conversations.
Around 60 members and guests attended the dinner, which was held in a restaurant at the busy South Wharf precinct adjacent to Melbourne’s Yarra River. Everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, as the evening kicked off with a welcoming cocktail.
During the evening guest speakers Shayne Coyne and daughter Alysa presented their new garden wear line, Lickity Split, which includes floral themed overalls, pants, aprons and other items. The products are available online and were also being launched at a stand at MIFGS.
After dinner, HMAA President, Judy Horton, presented the Joy Harland Memorial Photographic Awards. The evening was comperred by HMAA Secretary, George Hoad, who thanked Melbourne-local Chloe Thomson for organising the event and finding the venue.
