ACS launch new course: Effective Horticultural Communication

ACS have developed a course focussed on building better communication skills for people working in horticulture this week. This was prompted by discussions with several industry people in the UK and further reinforced in discussions with some of Australia’s garden industry leaders.  Several people made the same comment – that often horticultural people can grow plants really well, but are not very good ate communication (HMAA members excluded of course!)

They have created a concise course that can be completed in 10 hours, presenting information in a variety of different ways, like interactive components and purpose-produced video.

It is designed to be used as a “gap filler” or “PD” course for people working in horticulture as a useful refresher or in-house training.

If any HMAA members want to have access to see the course and interactive elements in full – contact their operations manager Nicholas at nic@acs.edu.au
