3 NEW PRODUCTS FOR OCP ECO-ORGANIC GARDEN RANGE
We’re excited to announce the range has just grown bigger with three new products designed to help organic gardeners protect their precious plants!
OCP eco-caterpillar killer – an easy way to control caterpillars using a naturally occurring bacteria (Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki). Also known as DiPel.
Key product features:
- kills caterpillars but safe for other insects including bees and ladybeetles
- safe for people, pets and wildlife
- approved for ornamentals and edibles (no withholding period)
- approved for use in organic gardens

OCP eco-insect killer – a soap-based insecticide that controls sap sucking garden pests including aphids, mites, whitefly, thrips and mealybugs. Also known as Natrasoap. Available as a concentrate and Ready to Use.
Key product features:
- controls common sap sucking pests
- soap-based formulation
- low impact on hard bodied beneficials like ladybeetles
- approved for ornamentals and edibles (no withholding period)
- approved for use in organic gardens
- RRP $20.40 (750ml RTU) and $28.69 (250ml)
OCP eco-pyrethrum PLUS – a dual action insecticide that controls a broad range of chewing and sap sucking pests including aphids, mites, caterpillars, whitefly, thrips, mealybugs, bronze orange bug, scale, earwigs, leafhoppers and more!
Most importantly it’s free from piperonyl butoxide making it the only truly organic pyrethrum easily available for home gardeners.
Key product features:
- controls chewing and sap sucking pests
- contains natural ingredients (pyrethrum daisy extract and canola oil)
- does not contain piperonyl butoxide (unlike regular pyrethrums)
- added seaweed to help with plant growth
- safe for use on ornamentals and edibles (1 day withholding)
- approved for use in organic gardens
- RRP $17.53 (750ml RTU)
All three products are ranged nationally in Bunnings stores with OCP eco-pyrethrum PLUS and OCP eco-insect killer appearing on shelves now. OCP eco-caterpillar killer will appear mid December. All products are also available now for independent hardware stores and nurseries to carry.
