It is time to consider if you wish to share your horticultural knowledge with the public on the HMAA Plant Clinic at the Qld Garden Show, July 11th to 13th, 2025.
We welcome our fellow HMA Australia members who may wish to volunteer and of course enjoy Australia’s premier plant and horticultural event.
Volunteering
If you are interested to volunteer for any of the sessions on Friday, Saturday or Sunday or any combination of times and days please register on-line.

You will receive a confirmation email and receipt for the booking/s.
Please be aware that some changes may need to be made. If there is need for change you will be contacted directly to discuss other options.
What to do:
Refer to the timetable and pick your day/s and time slot/s for which you wish to register. You may to choose 2 consecutive time slots or split 2 or more over the 3 days.
Speakers:
HMAA members may also be speakers, so we will work around their timetable once the speaker program has been released.

- To enable the QPS administration to organise and distribute your Media entry passes
- For HMAA to prepare timetables for promotion and distribution
- For HMAA to have the daily timetable printed for the sandwich board
- Please note that late bookings needing media passes can not be managed on your behalf by HMAA
Your pass:
Includes free VIP car parking where available, entry to the event and access only for yourself to the VIP/Media marquee, on the day/s you volunteer, but not the Speaker’s zone.
No extra passes for family, friends, colleagues and visitors are available relating to this activity.
Respecting event sponsors:
The clinic is an opportunity, provided by QGS management, for the public to meet professional horticulturists who are able to provide advice and information on gardening needs on a one to one basis. Please do not leave any advertising or promotional material nor product or service giveaways at the clinic.
Storage space not available in the marquee
Safety of your goods can not be guaranteed and room is limited in the marquee. Please store any purchases at the ‘Plant Creche’. There are various creche around the venue for your goodies to be safety stored whilst you shop for more. By doing so you are supporting local not-for-profit groups.
QGS COVID19 Event Management statement –
Queensland Garden Show will be operated in accordance with Queensland Government and Queensland Health regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic and its status at the time of the event.
Please check the Queensland Government website and follow the current public health advice. If you are not feeling well on the days of the event we ask that you do not attend.
