Members of HMA NSW enjoyed a happy Christmas get-together at the ultra-trendy Camperdown Commons on Thursday 22 November 2018. Camperdown Commons, although just 4km from the centre of Sydney, is the home of Pocket City Farms, an urban oasis where vegies grow in abundance and chooks scratch and cluck. It’s an amazing example of the successful repurposing of a rundown bowling club. http://camperdown.commons.com.au/
The delicious menu was a multicultural feast, with shared plates of fresh prawns, Lebanese dips, risotto, kangaroo carpaccio, baked salmon, Portuguese chicken, breads and a range of salads and vegetables. No-one went home hungry!
This evening was a great chance to catch up with old HMA friends and make new ones. President Matt Carroll is pictured passing on Christmas greetings to the group and filling them in on some of our plans for next year.
At the end of the evening everyone shared good wishes for the summer break and for the coming New Year.
